Purses!

Here is a pic of the 2nd part of the Mother/Daughter purses that I posted a couple of weeks ago!!! I really had fun making this smaller version of the purse and thought it turned out just perfect for a little lady!

I am working on more personalized purses and hope to have another style to share with you soon!!!

Latest Edition...Stroller Bags!

I heard that Avery needed a new bag...so I created this one! Mom wanted something not as bulky as the regular diapers bags so that it can go into the bottom space of a stroller. Shawn and I used to like the bags with longer handles so that we could put them over both handles on a stroller and then have quick acces to the contents. Also, Rae has been known to carry things "messenger" style a lot so the handle on this bag can work that way!!!

With the clean, retro color scheme Avery should be able to continue using it as she get bigger!!

How to stay cool on the weekend....sew!!!!

I stayed in out of the heat all weekend and had a lot of fun finishing up several projects!!! These burps turned out really cute so I thought I would share them with everyone!!!


As you can see the burpcloths are meant to coordinate with this ohhh so soft blankie!

Every little Princess needs her very own bag to showcase her name! How sweet is this?

I have had a lot of interest in the "lovies" since I posted the first one last week. I wanted to show how cute this one is in "girl" colors as well. There are many, many colors of fabric available to match almost any decor or theme to make that perfect one of a kind gift!! And of course ribbon colors can be changed to coordinate perfectly!!!!!

I did it!!!

OK...I did it!!! I actually made a purse!!! I owe it all to my sewing buddy Ms. Lewter. She has taken on the task of teaching me everything she knows about sewing!

I made my first purse last night, with Ms. Lewter's wonderful instruction, and have been watching the clock all day to get home and have another go at it! This is my first official, made from scratch, no assistance sewing project. Bailey has not seen it yet..I can not wait to see her reaction. She is so into my new adventure.
