OK for all those things that can not be hooped and somehow embroidered on my machine (and there are not many that I have not tried!) Vinyl Monograms are the answer!!! Just think of the possibilities!!! Endless I am tellin ya!! Cars, walls, children's furniture (only with Mommy's permission!!), dorm room decor etc..the list goes on and on!!

Amanda's Purse

I absolutely love this fabric! Amanda told me that she likes black and white,and loves hot pink! Amanda was so patient with me while I searched for just the right fabric!! When I caught a glimpse of this I could not wait to get started!

I love how these are turning out! Although the material is quite thick, it makes for a really nice purse!!!

Weekend Projects

I made myself this purse to carry for Spring!! (I am soo over cold weather!) I love this quilted fabric. Pardon the shadow!!!





This cute monogrammed burpcloth is for a customer order! I just love this font for a monogram! So sweet! I have found the best cloth diapers at Stitched and Stamped, they are high quality, do not pill, and are extra white!!! Oh and they come in a larger size than the pre-fold brand at stores...leaving lots of room to clean up spit!!


This adorable T shirt has been transformed into a "Big Sister" Tee! Everyone knows that our little Princesses must have this embroidered t shirt to welcome the new addition to the family and to let him or her know just who is in charge around town!


A new look to the lovie! I used flannel to back the chocolate brown minky dot lovie. Now the lovie is ultra soft while giving little hands another texture to explore!

Custom Made Purse

More purses!! I just can not get enough! I am having so much fun creating new shapes.

This bucket purse is about 10 inches wide at the bottom and roughly 7 or 8 inches at top with a curved opening. The handle is about 15 inches from side to side.
I bought this fabric a few months ago for no other reason than it is just cute cute cute! When I told Kim about the fabric I was using she "just had to have this one". Wonder how long it will be before she sees it?!?!?!

Oh yeah...I couldn't resist making a matching key ring!!!

There are pockets on the inside and a sturdy bottom panel.



This is another one that will go on the website....All custom purses are made to order and are one of a kind.

The first "DBK" Original

OK...you all get a sneak peak at what will be the first purse in the "DBK Boutiqe Line". Maybe I will call it something else..but the point is I now have a variation of the "square" purse! I have been thinking on this purse for awhile now and had it in my head just how I wanted it to look...it is pretty darn close!

This one will be called the "nichole"..so look for it in the near future!! Should be on the website soon!!



In case you can not tell..the purse is angle in a little more at the top! I think it makes a great "boutique" look!!!!

The great thing about all my custom purses is, although clients will pick the style and colors/patterns they prefer, each purse will be different than the last! All purses are one of a kind custom made purses. And of course all purses can be personalized with initials or a name before purse construction..so you get the professional look inside with lots of pockets included!

Purses!

Here is a pic of the 2nd part of the Mother/Daughter purses that I posted a couple of weeks ago!!! I really had fun making this smaller version of the purse and thought it turned out just perfect for a little lady!

I am working on more personalized purses and hope to have another style to share with you soon!!!

Anyway, this is part of a mother/daughter matching purse set and it was soooo much fun to make!!! I still have a few last minute touches to put on it but had a "spare" minute to post!!!

Purses are coming along!

I know this purse looks very similar to Avery's bag...but it is a purse! A lady I work with saw Avery's bag and had to have the same fabric as a purse for her teenage granddaughter!!
It was sooo much fun to create...keep looking for more purses next week!!

Who doesn't love purses!

OK..so I have to hope that Kim is too busy with last minute wedding things to look at my blog before I get this to her tomorrow night. Some of you may know that Kim and Matt are getting married tomorrow night. I decided weeks ago that I wanted to make her a personalized gift with her new initials. (plus I have been dieing to try out this new pattern and it proved as easy as I had hoped).
